Lotto Scam

Here's a tip... If you didn't get a ticket, you didn't win anything! Also, why would a legitimate company use a gmail account as their email address?

Please don't respond to these scams. There are real lotteries around, but the thing about them is... YOU HAVE TO ENTER TO WIN! In fact, I'm in one - as you can see from the banners on my site. It's real and pays real money.... the scam emails don't. If you want to play for real, join mine.

Yeah - I got the same one and agree - what I don't like (apart from the obvious) is that there are some people who are just plain gullible and will fall for this. I wish some government agency would crack down on this type of spam which in the end is an attempt at extortion.

How could we denunciate this type of criminal intent..Irecieved some like e-mail and the fraude consists in a payment to a "purple courier service" that would sent the "check" and "winning certificate" to you..I verified the enclosed information given from them and it´s false, I´m located in Venezuela and recieved that spam on 02-07-2008... people be careful in order not to be robered (sorry for any mistakes in this message, I sepeak little bit of this languaje)

Thanks Doug and Pablo. It is a shame that people get sucked in by these things.
